The +1 Button will allows sharing information to your contacts and this recommendation about any certain content on the web can affect a website’s standing to search results. Also, the +1 button will appear to the AdWords add that are posted on the website. It basically does the same function as the Facebook Like button.

An interesting feature of +1 is that regardless of whether you click the +1 in the organic search result, in an AdWords ad or in the content of a website or a blog, what you vote for is the target site. These votes will then be reflected in all three options at the same time your avatar will be displayed to your contacts directly below the result.

In May 2009, the cyberspace was thrilled when Google had launched Google Wave as a tool to revolutionize the way people communicate.

The elation, though, lasted only for 14 months as Google announced that it will discontinue the service. One of the main reasons as assessed by analysts on why the service ended too soon is because it is too complicated. The fundamental design of the service is to allow association among different users via instant messages, documents, drawings, task lists, calendar and many more. But the service is not easy to appreciate and has proved to be confusing to several users who are comfortable to the plainness of other social networks.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt said that one of their policies is to try things out and they rejoice with their failures. However, some economic analysts do not believe in a similar way.

A few weeks ago when Google announced to the public its second-quarter revenue this year, advised that the company was too expanded and as a result it is losing ground in the search market.

And there are more potential justifications for the termination of Google Wave. The company is launching its computer operating system "Google Chrome OS" based on the same principle: "Our computer activities are conducted mainly within the browser and no longer on the desktop."

Simultaneously on the Internet, there are many buzz that the company might be working on a social network like Facebook called "Google Me."

This plan, according to speculations, could slot in elements of Wave and Google Buzz, the social platform mail service Gmail.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

If you will ask an average person to describe Google as a company, the normal answer you will probably get is that it is one of the largest and most successful web advertising companies in the world.

However, Google would like this stereotype be changed and educate everyone that the company is not just on the "take side" of a "give and take relationship" of a business circle. The company wants the world to know that it has become a part of the success of small businesses across the world offering internet-based services and products even in times of poor economic performance.

The multinational public cloud computing company released a report during a news conference in the Capitol building stating about the economic impact of their company's programs and services. Google said that on 2009, it generated approximately $54 billion for US-based businesses, online publishers and non-profit organizations alone. The report was based on the total amount of money Google paid out to its clients using Google AdSense products, the value of free advertising it gives to non-profit sectors and lastly, the estimates on the amount of money made by marketers and advertisers.

Google may look like it is trying to emphasize its great contribution in the economic development and into providing more jobs to people but the company have a point after all. We cannot deny the fact that internet advertising has become a vital part in our economy especially for small and medium businesses relying to the World Wide Web in generating sales and revenue.
